Key findings from the research

Post by samiaseo55 »

The most important results that emerged from the survey:

Despite Google's dominance, consumers use multiple websites during the purchasing process.
44% of adults in the US have used an AI application at least once.
57% of respondents work with AI every day, approximately half of them several times a day.
Half of those surveyed said they find traditional business owner data search and artificial intelligence almost interchangeable.
Over three-quarters of participants find searching on Google easier.
67% of respondents believe that AI will replace search engines in three years.
Search is crumbling
A very important piece of information from the survey is the fact that users visit multiple websites before making a purchase to get as much relevant information as possible. An example is the social network TikTok, where a surprising number of Americans look for consumer reviews and product recommendations.

Although Google is still the most used, its dominance is slowly but surely being eroded by other platforms and websites. And there are quite a few of them.

Searching is “much easier”
Despite the consensus among SEO experts and others that the quality of Google searches has been declining for some time, respondents believe otherwise. The results show that for the vast majority of them, it is much easier to search for something today than it was some time ago.
