Create a dedicated platform

Internal distribution
Distribute these figures and facts internally as well. Make them so accessible that employees can use them in their presentations. The Brabant Development Agency (BOM) is a good example of an organization that has made great strides in this area. Visitors to the annual report site I worked on can select what they find interesting and download it for their own use.

The BOM itself disseminates interesting elements from the annual report throughout the year via social media, particularly via LinkedIn .

present annual report

Online first, almost everyone agrees on that. But that is something completely different than just sharing that integral pdf of your annual report on your website.

Separate online environment
To truly work online first, it is easiest to set up a separate database or online environment where all content is collected and maintained. This environment is the basis for all (strategic) publications about your company, including the annual report.

“That is happening more and more,” says Marcel Rosenbrand , founder and director of F19 digital first phone number list reporting . “From that online environment, in addition to the mandatory PDF, other online content can be published simultaneously.”

Strategic & current information
Then place all relevant information about your company on a (well-designed) platform. This does not only contain the annual report and interesting parts of it (those infographics, videos, etc.). But also other interesting strategic information. The quarterly and (half) annual figures, for example. And detailed information about the various business units, bios of the members of the board of directors and the supervisory board.

In addition, place online summaries (in multiple languages) of the most important documents. And keep the platform up to date. Such a platform is ideal for applicants, business partners and journalists.

Core & More
This approach also works well for companies that use the Core & More concept for their annual report: an accessible 'Core' report with the most relevant information and background, intended for a broad audience. And the 'More' report that is much more detailed (often the original annual report and the appendices with the figures).
